What you measure you can manage
PHOCAS is a great tool we use to extract data from sage200 and present the information in a clear and understandable manner. Use PHOCAS to generate key KPI reports so you know exactly where you are at any point of the day/week/month & year. PHOCAS is very flexible and working with the Customer Success Consultant it seems that pretty much any report is achievable. Once onboarded it is important for your team to follow through on as much of the training as possible to enable the business to maximise the value of the software. What you measure, you can manage - use PHOCAS to make your data meaningful and actionable.

Great Solution
We use Sage 200 which has very limited analytics out of the box. The onboarding process was quick and simple with a basic template for Sage 200 already in place which gives great visibility of Sage 200 data very quickly. We are a growing business so how we look at data and what we want to look at is ever changing. We have access to the extract/import section which means when our data changes in Sage 200 we can make any changes ourselves which is fairly simple. If we ever have any issues support is always on hand with guidance. We now bring data into Phocas from our phone system as well as Sage 200 for dashboards around the business. Being able to bring multiple data sets together is a great benefit! If you are a data person always looking at things in pivot tables etc. in Excel it takes a minute to adjust to the Phocas way, however for those who are less involved in data manipulation and analysis and starting from scratch it is very easy to pickup and run with. With it being cloud based it means our teams can easily access it anywhere which is a real plus compared to using the usual Sage 200 features! Overall, a good solution that I would use again in a heartbeat.

Best tool for Data Analytics
Phocas is a powerful analytics tool for any business to have. The ease of use for an end-user ensures buy-in from users. Phocas allows users to get to their data and get results fast. How quickly one can get up and running to review and drill into metrics. It is a game changer for our company. I keep Phocas up and signed in all day long. The ability to extract into excel is handy as well. Data is presented in an easy-to-use manner, and end-users can't break anything no matter how much they click around. Designer is easy for admins to add and customize data. Too many BI tools require complex manipulation of various filters, whereas Phocas has kept it simple with click and drill functionality. Don't let this simplicity fool you; functions like Matrix view for quickly identifying opportunities and transaction mode for deeper dive information are beneficial. The range of features and depth of reporting seems endless. If you can provide the information data, Phocas can present everything you need in many ways: favorites, dashboards, or simply interactive tables to drill down into.

Fantastic Solution to problems you didn't know you had
I was looking for an analytics solution that could easily retrieve information that we had within Sage50 accounts. Very few companies offer integration with Sage50... however, Phocas did! I was somewhat sceptical about it as I didn't think it would work 'when it came to the bit'. However, the Phocas team took a backup of my own Sage50 data and put it into the software. This enabled me to see exactly the potential of the software in a demo before I signed up. It also reassured me that I wasn't going to be mis-sold some piece of tech that looked perfect in the demo because the demo data was immaculate! (been there, done that) Phocas' strapline is 'Got data. Get results'. I couldn't really improve on that - we knew we had a certain amount of information sitting within our Sage data, but just struggled to get it out of it easily. Phocas put an end to that pain and now any information we need is only a few clicks away. The biggest asset that Phocas have is a phenomenal culture which is made up of amazing people who really want to see your business flourish with their solution. How many times have you invested in software, to find that you're on your own once you've passed the purchase/install phase? Not with Phocas. There is someone there at every step of the way and even now, after years of being on the platform, help is only an email, text or a phone call away. Phocas has given us visibility like never before - we know what our numbers are, and we can act quickly if something untoward crops up. This gives great peace of mind. Furthermore, we can automate much of our reporting - most of our key reports are automatically emailed round on a daily basis. A change in ERP is not going to mean a wasted investment in Phocas, as it can simply plug into the new solution. If you’re wondering about it, get a demo – you cannot lose out. Even if you don’t go with it, you will likely find out things about your business in the demo alone that you didn’t know about!
