Advanced WMS 200 for Sage 200
Sales Order Picking
There are a variety of picking options available such that customers can use the method that best meets their requirements and increase their efficiency
Sales Order Packing
Orders are packed on a 'box at a time' basis typically using handheld scanners, tablets or desktop PC's. As each item is packed into a specific box, this information is recorded and customised packing reports created.
The packing options within Advanced WMS 200 enable a company to have 100% accuracy whilst packing. Picked products are double checked prior to despatch, reducing business costs by reducing the number of returns due to mis pick errors.
Serial number and batch number traceability
Increasingly becoming an industry requirement, Datalinx has standard functionality to manage the picking, packing of orders with these types of products. As well as within the general warehousing management and movement of product within the business.
Manufacturing Module
Datalinx can provide functionality to assist with the management of Bills of Materials and Works Orders within the manufacturing process. This is applicable to businesses using Sage 200 manufacturing or CIM200 Manufacturing and enables clients to use various releases of Sage 200 and ensures they have a software upgrade path should they wish to migrate to a different version of Sage 200.
The Datalinx Manufacturing Suite automates the issuing of materials by using a hand held barcode scanning device which scan items as they are issued or receipted into the production process. Where required, batch, date and serial numbers of components and assemblies can also be captured.
As each Works Order is completed, or partially completed, Datalinx Manufacturing automatically updates Sage 200 Manufacturing. The Works Order status in Sage 200 is automatically updated, reflecting status change in real time.
Hardware
Advanced WMS 200 runs a dedicated client which can be used on an extensive range of devices including; handheld scanners, tablets or desktop computers to present the warehouse user with a specific interface which is informative and job appropriate. The Datalinx DML client is designed to run under the Android operating system, and Datalinx have tested the client from Android version V4 (Kitkat) to V11. Android V10 and V11 has been tested across all Zebra Technologies TC and MC devices (excluding RFID devices). Earlier versions of Android have been tested and approved on specific devices.
